Our Daily Programme
Our daily programme at Educare One Tree Point varies each day depending on the needs of our tamariki. We do however typically have a routine that we intend to follow which we have outlined below to give you an idea of what a typical day at Educare One Tree Point could look like. Children sleep when needed/as per their routine.
7:30am
Centre opens and tamariki settle in with the support of their kaiako
9:00am
Morning kai (Tēina), Morning Hui (Tūakana) where tamariki come together and open their day with our national anthem, karakia and waiata
9:10am
Morning Kai (Tūakana)
9:30 - 11:30am
Tamariki engage in learning experiences, freedom to explore inside and outside
10:00 - 10:45am
Discovery room - our 4 year old tamariki go to the discovery room to engage in experiences to prepare them for school
11:00am
Lunchtime Kai (Tēina)
11:30am
Tūakana tamariki are encourages to be kaitiaki as they tidy up their play space
11:45am
Tēina tamariki engage in quiet time/ moe
11:45am
Wā whānau - a time for tuakana tamariki to discuss learning interests, sing waiata, share news and read stories
12:00pm
Lunchtime Kai (Tūakana)
12:30pm
Quiet time as some of our tamariki go for a moe

Tūakana tamariki engage in learning experiences, freedom to explore inside and outside

Afternoon Kai (Tēina)

Tamariki come together to close our day with karakia , we wind down as tamariki begin to leave for the day
