Our Daily Programme
Our daily programme at Educare Two River is based on creating Rituals for the children to ensure there is consistency and predictability which enables us to provide calm learning spaces. While we have a daily programme we do adapt where needed to ensure we are meeting the needs of our tamariki and the different age groups that we cater for.
The daily programme we intend to follow is outlined below to give you an idea of what a typical day at Educare Two Rivers could look like.
For children who require a sleep – we follow their individual sleep rhythms throughout the day working closely with home routines.
All moments between meal times, we provide space and resources for child led exploration. Experiences and provocations are provided by the teachers that extend on the interests and urges of the children, focusing on developing the children’s skills, knowledge and learner outcomes.

Centre opens
7.30-8.30am
Toddlers and preschool join together, infants start in their room. Care moments and settling.
9.15-9.30am
Morning tea
11.15-11.30am
Lunch
2.00-2.15pm
Afternoon tea
4.30pm
Late snack
5.00pm
