Right in the heart of Whitby, Educare Adventure stands as a vibrant and inclusive early childhood centre in Porirua. Here, the values of connection and cultural identity are intricately woven into the fabric of our daily lives.
Our dedicated kaiako (teachers) create an engaging, nurturing early childhood centre where tamariki (children) feel proud of who they are and confident to express themselves.
At Educare Adventure, a warm, lively environment invites tamariki to explore, be creative, and engage in social interaction. Our expansive outdoor garden is a hub of discovery, fostering problem-solving skills and encouraging collaborative play. Children are free to lead their own adventures, while older tamariki naturally step into mentoring roles, promoting strong friendships and interconnectedness.
Learning flourishes within a framework of respectful, nurturing relationships at Educare Adventure in Whitby. Our kaiako are committed to guiding each child’s unique development with intention and care. We celebrate and nurture cultural identity through engaging activities such as kapa haka, waiata and learning te reo Māori, alongside meaningful experiences that resonate with our children’s everyday lives.
With our dedicated school-readiness programme, we equip every child with the confidence and capabilities they need, ensuring they are well-prepared to continue on their educational journey.
Choosing an early learning centre is a big decision, we’re honoured you’re considering Educare. We know how important it is to find a place where your child feels safe, supported, and truly at home.
