At Educare Tawa, we warmly invite whānau into a peaceful and friendly childcare centre, a little haven away from the busy world. Inside, you will find tamariki joyfully engaged in play, supported closely by our caring kaiako, fostering a nurturing atmosphere where children can truly be themselves.
Situated in Tawa Junction, right next to BigAir Gym, and just a short walk from the Tawa train station, we aim to make life a little easier for parents on their way to the CBD.
Our outdoor space is a joyful blend of nature and exploration, featuring established trees and lush greenery. Some of our feijoa trees, lovingly donated and planted by whānau with their tamariki, symbolise our collaborative spirit and give children a genuine sense of ownership in their environment.
Each play area is thoughtfully designed for the children using it, with sandpits and landscaped water play offering safe, stimulating opportunities for tamariki to learn about their world and test their abilities at their own pace.
We believe children thrive when they feel safe and supported. That’s why our compassionate kaiako work closely with whānau to ensure tamariki feel valued and ready to engage in their learning journey.
In our Puāwai room, children over two take part in tailored learning experiences that respect their unique age and stage. Monthly visits from our librarian bring the joy of stories into our centre, while Coach Mattie’s engaging GameTime sessions and fun-filled visits to BigAir Gym provide tamariki with exciting ways to build confidence through movement and play.
