At Educare Porirua, we cherish the unique families and vibrant cultures that make our city truly special. Our early childhood centre is conveniently located near local schools, museums, and the rich daily life of Porirua, making it a wonderful choice for local whānau.
Inside, our tamariki (children) are immersed in a world of languages, cultural celebrations, and caring kaiako (teachers) who genuinely take the time to know each child and their family.
We’ve designed our centre to be filled with natural light, featuring spacious areas and individual outdoor settings for each group. Here, tamariki have the freedom to ride bikes, run, play with water, and explore sensory experiences, all while enjoying the beauty of the outdoors, regardless of the weather.
Our toddlers and preschoolers can easily transition between outdoor spaces, creating wonderful opportunities to play together and form meaningful relationships across the early childhood centre.
Every day, our centre rhythm revolves around the children, guiding their learning with empathy and understanding. Through nurturing relationships, hands-on experiences, and everyday discoveries, our kaiako support tamariki in building confidence and curiosity.
By working closely with whānau and paying attention to what matters in your homes, we strive to help each child feel connected, valued, and fully supported on their learning journey.
Choosing an early learning centre is a big decision, we’re honoured you’re considering Educare. We know how important it is to find a place where your child feels safe, supported, and truly at home.
Come and explore our spaces, meet our caring team, and see first-hand what makes Educare special.
